My name is Vicki and I am the owner here at Bear Cubs. I am passionate about learning through play and providing children with the greatest variety of experiences possible. I love arts and crafts, stories and exploring the great outdoors! I am so lucky to be supported by the most amazing team that will nurture and support your little one through the exciting journey of discovery that is Early Years!

Hi, my name is Rachael, or ‘Ra Ra’ as the children call me, and I am the deputy manager at Bear Cubs Day Nursery. I have worked in childcare for 10 years and have gained experience in caring for children from 3 months to 5 years, during which time I was the baby room leader.
I believe that building a bond with children and parents is very important and I am passionate about getting to know each individual child, and finding ways to support them in their development by providing rich, exciting activities. I love to read stories with the children, expanding their imaginations, using props and building their language. I also love messy play - anything from shaving foam to paint!
I work alongside a fantastic team, and with all our strength's combined, I believe that we provide an exceptional environment in which your little one can grow and learn.

Hi, my name is Leanne, or Anne as some of the children like to call me! I am a Mum of 5 children and I also have a granddaughter.
I have 15 years’ experience of working with babies and preschool children and I have been a qualified Level 3 practitioner for almost 14 of those. I’m very happy and honoured to have just taken on the role of Deputy Manager at Bear Cubs, and am looking forward to working with Rachael and the team to provide the best possible provision for all our young Bear Cubs.
I have a great rapport with the children and I love to role play with them and watch their imaginations grow. I believe in having a great partnership with parents and carers. I’m very lucky to have amazing colleagues who also have a great work ethic to promote this.
I look forward to welcoming all the new children to Bear Cubs and watching them explore, grow and develop whilst in our care.

My name is Laura and I am a childcare practitioner here at Bear Cubs. As well as having my own 3 children, I have recently achieved a Level 3 diploma in Early Years.
I can say from the bottom of my heart that Bear Cubs is a small, friendly , home from home nursery, where your little ones are loved and cared for like members of the family. I love creating interesting tuff tray activities for the children, as well as various art and craft activities and enjoying our wonderful outdoor area.

Hello, my name is Caroline. I have been working with children from newborn to primary age, ever since I left college all those years ago.
I love being part of a child’s development and to be able to nurture that process, seeing their individual personalities and abilities blossom.
Working with early years is my happy place, knowing every day I have the ability to be able to create lots of learning opportunities for the little people we are lucky enough to have at our nursery.
